He has studied under Master Ceramists from around the world, including, but not limited to, numerous G.C. educators, Michel Magne and Mark I. Anderson.
Jack has great ability and a natural feel for shade, anatomy, and morphology, which allows him to create beautiful aesthetic and functional restorations. Jack is responsible for the production of the majority of Private Ceramic restorations produced by the lab and has a special interest and talent for anterior 3 to 3 type cases, and veneer restorations.
Jack has demonstrated great artistic ability in many ceramic systems including traditional porcelain bonded (feldspatic) ceramics as well as newer systems such as e-max, (Lithium Disilicate) Procera (Alumina), and Lava (Zirconium).
Aleksandra started her career in Ceramics in 2007. Prior to entering into the world of dentistry, Aleksandra studied Art at the University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland. Transitioning her amazing artistic talents to Ceramics, Aleksandra has developed a wide range of skills by working side-by-side with one of Power Dental Studio's Founders, Aleksandra's husband, Jack Polczynski.
Aleksandra plays a vital role in the day-to-day workings of the lab. Beyond Ceramics, Aleksandra's skills are used in many different areas, as she is also a member of the CAD/CAM Design Team.
Aleksandra has found the transition from traditional instruments to digital to be quite easy. Aleksandra's skills allow the lab to gain all the benefits of Computer Aided Design while still maintaining absolute control over substructure design.
Aleksandra still has a love for art and is an active member of the Oak Park Art League, also known as OPAL.
